Morgan’s Technical Ceramics business designs and manufactures advanced technical ceramic components from a portfolio of cutting-edge materials, to address customer-specific technical challenges. In the UK, the Technical Ceramics business is based in Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire. This facility focuses on the manufacture of high-performance materials and components for a wide range of markets, including healthcare and energy. The site is also home to the company’s global ‘Structural Ceramics Centre of Excellence’, which allows Morgan to better serve global customers by developing new, differentiated materials technologies for structural ceramics applications.

Morgan Advanced Materials is a key participant in the MICG’s Strength in Places Fund (SIPF) program, working alongside other industry leaders and academic institutions to advance the development of high-performance ceramics. Morgan is leveraging this funding to support innovations in advanced manufacturing technologies, helping to enhance the technical capabilities of their Technical Ceramics business and to position the Midlands as a global leader in ceramics, contributing to the region’s economic growth and job creation.
