MICG Poster Competition 2024

15^th – 16^th May 2024 Advanced Ceramics Show, NEC Birmingham

Building on last year’s success, the MICG will be sponsoring a Poster Competition at the Advanced Ceramics Show in May 2024.

Entries are welcome from the wider academic and industrial community on the theme outlined below. This is an excellent opportunity for networking and exchange of ideas.

MICG focuses on building a strong innovation focused network within the Ceramics and Advanced Ceramics sector across industry and academia.

Poster themes:

• Process Innovation
• Product Innovation
• Ceramics 4.0 (Data and Modelling)

In all cases, please highlight the potential or actual impact for the sector and industrial relevance.

Running order for the two days:

15^th May

8:00-10:00 – Poster set-up

13:00-14:00 – Judging sessions – All candidates to be present in the poster area for questions from the judges

16:30 – Winner announcement

16^th May

10:00 – close posters to remain on display

16:30 – Poster take-down

Timeline

Thursday 28^th March – abstract submission deadline

Friday 12^th April – poster acceptance confirmation

Wednesday 15^th May – first day of show and poster set-up
