About your company
Foseco is a worldleading company in the business of foundry consumables. Part of the Vesuvius group which is traded on the London stock exchange and with a head office in London. Most of the product we make are refractory ceramics which need to be able to cope with the extreme conditions during metal casting. Foseco has local development teams around the world and an R&D Centre in Enschede, Netherlands.
Your work with MICG
In the MICG project we are collaborating with Loughborough University on the topic of 3d printing of ceramics.
Aims for the future under the MICG programme
We hope to be able to develop some products based on the technology that is investigated under the MICG project.
